Roosbeef is a Dutch band from Duiven around singer-songwriter Roos Rebergen formed in 2002. Roos is supported by Tom Pintens, Reinier van den Haak, Tim van Oosten and Tijs Delbeke.
Fiery red hair, remarkably witted and blessed with an entirely unique view towards everything and more, Roos does things in her own fashion. Noticably. She’s a genre of her own. Rebergen describes their style as melodic pop music with a raw edge.
Roos tends to point out Roosbeef is a band, and not just your average support band. She claims “It’s not music, made up around the lyrics. It’s just as important as the lyrics are. The band creates the song” referring to the melodic arrangements featuring guitar, drums, bass and an occasional guest-contribution.
