Romane, whose real name Patrick Leguidecoq, is a jazz guitarist born in Paris in 1959. He plays in a style reminiscent of Django Reinhardt. However, this has not prevented him from composing rich & personal songs.

His discography is also illustrated by a desire not to stay stuck in a style or theme, but to try to move forward, whether by choice of musicians, or instruments. He also varies band formations, the duo to sextet: examples of the group Django Vision and the Roman Acoustic Quartet. Many collaborations, from Florin Niculescu with Didier Lockwood, Tchavolo Schmitt, Angelo Debarre to Stochelo Rosenberg.
