Roland Taylor is a composer from the United Kingdom. He studied composition with Richard Steinitz at Huddersfield Polytechnic. His musical style is post-minimalist. His compositional output is mostly for piano or combinations of pianos and tuned percussion. He has written music for the concert hall, film, television and the theatre. He has worked in the classical music business as a producer for BBC Radio 3, a broadcast producer for the BBC Proms and Interactive Editor of Classical Music at the BBC. Roland is currently working as Director of New Media and Participation at the English National Opera in London.

His influences include Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Bob Brozman, early music, Jazz and Bach.
