Roddy Frame (born January 29, 1964 in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, Scotland) is the founder of the 1980s Scottish indie band, Aztec Camera. They released their first album, High Land, Hard Rain, when Frame was aged nineteen. It spawned the hit single Oblivious, and Aztec Camera were recognised as one of the key acts on Glasgow's Postcard record label, along with Orange Juice and Josef K.

  • It's heartbreaking that someone like George Ezra has 2.7m scrobbles while a real genius like Roddy Frame scrapes a mere 154,000. The only scant comfort is that today's crop of over-hyped boy wonders are unlikely to be producing songs of the quality of Roddy's current output when they turn 50.

  • "Reason for Living" is such a melodic anthemic emotionally powerful song. I never tire of listening to it. Not familiar with his other solo work.
  • That's a matter of opinion and you are fully entitled to yours....for me, well that's to difficult to call. Completely different moods created on each album, both classics in their own right if you ask me.....why does there have to be a competition?
