@Eye_Gore - Maybe so, there are many versions of this song recorded. Ringo had a lot of music ppl drop in studio to guest-play when he made his albums. The one playing now for me has Harry Nilsson singing background on the "Stop And Smell The Roses" version of "...Boogaloo". Harry produced the album,I recall.
Yeah, always wondered what went through Ringo's mind, post Beatles. It is not like you can top the acheivements of your former band. There is always going to be interest in your work, and it is not as if, you can't sign up the best musicians and put out a solid album. But somehow is there not an inevitable feeling that you're really only marking time after the Beatles? Having said this of course most of us, could be considered to be only marking time by that measure :)
