Strange how this tender little meditation on being a kid and learning to stop time has reached double the listens of her second most popular song on last.fm. It was not, as you can imagine, a hit in '79 (obviously the song's new-found success is due to its unlikely appearance on season 1 of a certain small screen medical drama), but it did come out as a single back in the day - on the B-side of Chuck E.'s in Love!

If you like this one, listen to "we belong together" and "living it up". Those two are in the top ten of my all-time-favourites!!!

My favorite song of hers; and, if you're not prepared, it may touch a memory to make you cry. A lot of people name Chuck E. as their fave, but this one just does it for me.

it should, cause I loved that show... but instead I associate it with one of the very first House episodes...yeah I watch too much tv. Oh well, incredibly beautiful and sad song <3
