Florida, Uruguay (August 31, 1949 – present)

Rick Roberts, born August 31, 1949, in Florida is a Country Rock, & Classic Rock, Singer-songwriter who recorded with many influential artists of the genre in the 70’s. He is best known for his work with The Flying Burrito Brothers on their 1971 self-titled album, and as a founding member and the lead singer of Firefall from 1976 to 1981. He recorded two solo albums, Windmills in 1972 and She Is A Song in 1973.

rick i hope you read this. i saw you with firefall at the warehouse in new orleans. you played 2 nights. i fell in love with the band the first night and went back the second night. it was so hot and everyone was packed in tight. i was almost ready to pass out and you stopped and brought me a cold coke. i never forgot the act of kindness. god bless you for that you saved me that night from passing out. i went on to rock to you the rest of the night. wish i could shake his hand for that and buy him a drink.

Rick is a great guy i spent some time with him in Boulder and in Longmont just a great guy
