Released September 1, 2002 Amalgamated Sons of Rest is the name of a one-off project by American songwriters Will Oldham and Jason Molina, along with Scottish colleague Alasdair Roberts. The collaboration yielded one eponymous EP. Will Oldham and Jason Molina have both performed under many flags, Pyramid Electric, Songs: Ohia, Magnolia Electric co.
The Continental OP was a band formed by David Pajo and Will Oldham. The 12" EP titled 'Slitch Music' was released on October 8, 2002. The music from this album is in a 2003, 23 minute film produced by Dianne Bellino, also titled 'Slitch.'
