Biography

Rock band united in september of 2005 in Brasilia, Brazil.

RESISTORES is a power-trio consisting of very talented musicians very familiar to demanding local and national audiences.

Intimacy with their instruments allow not only for a vigourous soundscape but also for the display of a wide variety of rythmes and composition styles. Alongside traditional instruments, the band welcomes electronic components to their sound, such as editing software and midi interfaces in order to bring electic/accustic/digital worlds together into one contemporary enssamble.

Lyrics cover controversial themes such as faith, war and mass behavior. The tone is rigourously rock, highly influenced by all-time masters like The Who, Underworld, Beatles, U2, Led Zeppelin, Supergrass, Motown, Ringo and Macca (the REAL Drum ‘n’ bass), Leftfield, The Police, Who Made Who, Munk, LCD Soundsystem, Air, Zero 7 and Black Sabbath among many others.

THE BAND:
Guilherme Nobrega - voice & guitar
Marcello Souza - bass & fx
Eduardo Espinoza Raggi - drums
