“Us” is the second single from Regina Spektor’s UK compilation album Mary Ann Meets the Gravediggers and Other Short Stories, although it was originally released on her 2004 album Soviet Kitsch. The song is notable for its use of a string quartet in addition to Spektor’s usual piano and vocals. The song was also used in a UEFA Champions League Final montage, by ITV. According the the Internet Movie Database, the song is to be featured in the upcoming film 500 Days of Summer. The song has also been used in a tv commercial for a Dutch telecom company in 2007.
