The album cover reminds me of Paul Simon.

I thought I was growing out of Regina Spektor until I put this disc on again and-- WOW. [2] I actually think "Songs" and "11:11" are even better now that my musical taste has matured. Seriously over-looked and under-appreciated albums. Her voice, lyrics, and songcraft shine much more brightly in this minimalist, intimate, and imperfect style. Songs like Oedipus, Consequence of Sounds, and Lacrimosa... are just... I love them even more than I used to.

I thought I was growing out of Regina Spektor until I put this disc on again and-- WOW. I could never reject this powerful beauty. Why hasn't she released anything as interesting as this? I know she's capable of it.

Does anyone have the physical album? I was wondering if it comes with a booklet... if it is worth it.

The album was recorded in its entirety on Christmas Day of 2001; all songs were recorded in one take. It's a Christmas miracle!

my favourite <3 i like this version of Samson ... and i agree with @rUaNcArLo... if she had continued making the same music in all her albums i'd be a little boring ... i like reg in all her facets
