About this album

Maybe it’s because these tracks were over played, maybe it was all those ‘reel big fish sucks’ t-shirts in the 90’s, or maybe it’s the fact that Reel Big Fish hasn’t had a solid album after this collection of mega hits, but most people are not really excited about the new Reel Big Fish CD. That being said one cannot argue that this album, ‘Turn the Radio OFF’ is to Ska/Punk Third wave, what the Beatles ‘Revolver’ what to the Psychedelic movement. The tragedy is also the triumph for this band, because they lived up to their lyric, ‘every song is a hit, and the girls like them, too’, got over played on the Radio (you were supposed to turn the radio off, remember?), and eventually lost all their (if any) punk rock street cred. Other than that, pop in this one CD, and relax, there’s no reason to skip any tracks, ‘every song is a hit, and the girls like them, too’
