Red Mountain Church rides the sound and soul of Birmingham through the roots of a Southern steel town to new heights of glory and freedom. The songs embrace real doubt yet communicate boundless hope. A host of talented musicians, under the helm of Brian T. Murphy, have taken various Hymn texts, some of them loved for years and some of them unsung since their publication, and set them to new music. this combination of new/old, doubt/hope, having a place in Birmingham yet longing for a home in Heaven, creates a trancendant vision of real human life in the midst of faith and trial.
