Red Milk is an experimental lo-fi noise folk band that began in late 2008 in Toronto, On. The name is taken from Sonic Youth (a major influence), who used it early on playing shows in New York. For the upcoming 2009 album '79 Ages Ago', Red Milk has adopted a sound best described as "surf folk".
