Biography

Red Cube is a Mumbai-based alternative-rock band, formed in 2006 by Gaurav Gupta (guitar, vocals), Vinit Bharucha (bass) and Rahul Hariharan (drums). Rahul and Vinit, who also play in the Bombay metalcore band Bhayanak Maut, had wanted to explore the softer side of music for about a year, until they met Gaurav who was looking for musicians. In November 2007, Rajeev Talwar (also of Zero) took over the vocal duties.

Red Cube’s music is fusion of Gaurav and Rajeev’s pop/rock with Vinit and Rahul’s alternative-rock/funk influences and brings to the people a sound that is unique, refreshing and most of all - fun.

dudes - its 3 AM - Im at Time's Square working the night shift- and im listening to your tyoon - theres a gentle cool breeze in the city - this song sends fire right through to the soul. Apologies for laying down on the song intensely- effin bass lines are trippy - that momentary distortion hits the spot - the drums are tight. Im looking at the stupid tourists and going "these are the people....they are looking for the moment" with fists tightened and teeth clenched...and Im having my moment in my corner on 42nd !!! maaki-kirkiri bhai...keep em coming ! -baap /\ \/
