Elusive Canadian songstress Rebecca Timmons took time away from her graphic design and illustration career to create a 1995 self-titled debut album, followed by The Turing Event in 1999 (of which the track Alive was featured on an episode of Dawson's Creek).
Her style–while distinct, creative, and original in its own right–brings comparisons to the piano and layered-vocal treatments of Tori Amos, as well as the husky, warm warblings of Milla Jovovich.
