Glasgow based singer/songwriter Rebecca Orr is an alternative, rock and pop artist who draws from a wide range of influences such as Crowded House, Incubus, Soundgarden and Radiohead and she has already played in numerous well known venues such as The Classic Grand, The Garage, Box, The 13th Note and The Cathouse.
Rebecca has taken her place in a few different bands in the past and has won a NiGMMaS award for Best Song in 2008, after which she decided to concentrate on her own solo projects.
Now after the release of her EP entitled Little Hands, which features four self-written tracks, she is going from strength to strength in the pop world, where very soon she will be making waves through the music industry.
Most recently, Rebecca supported American singer/songwriter Terra Naomi on the Glasgow leg of her 2012 European “To Know I’m OK” tour and has now started work on her next EP to be released later this year
With statements that liken her to a cross between Dashboard Confessional, Incubus, Radiohead and KT Tunstall, Rebecca finds herself heading in the right direction.
