  • Granted, I'm a late bloomer..here it is 2014 & I'm just now finding out that Ray Boltz "came out" as being gay in 2008? HE knows better! 9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. NIV For him to continue in writing & singing Christian music, makes him nothing more than a hypocrite!! any teaching & preaching he does, means nothing any more.... When I first found out (about 1 hour ago), the first thing I did was to sit down & cry....how can he turn his back on GOD? I have since thrown out all his music, videos, posters.....everything... I want nothing more to do with this person..... I am TOTALLY & COMPLETELY against ANY homosexuality... I'm crushed... hurt even.....
  • How to listen a song from here.... do we have to download just to listen..... Is this only about money here?
  • chrisuab, that is a typical misunderstanding of "judge not" that suggest we never recognize sin for what it is. That is not the intention. That is usually an excuse by people who do not want to recognize that sin needs to be called sin, no matter if it's me or someone else.
  • So sad about what happened here. Love the music. Hope & pray for a restoration here.
  • What a sad situation. Ray Boltz use to be one of my favorites, but now I won't even listen to him because to me it's like condoning that lifestyle. I pray that he comes to Christ and rejects that sinful lifestyle. And yes, blackhawk and chrisuab, we all need prayer because we all sin every single day. The difference that seperates true Christians from someone like Ray Boltz is that when we do sin, the Holy Spirit convicts us and we reject the sin and repent and ask forgiveness. Ray left his wife and children to live as a homosexual and now attends a place that condones that sort of lifestyle. I don't see much conviction or repentance there. I would never assume to put myself above anyone; In my past I was a sinner in the worst way. But it is what it is. Willful disobediance of Gods Word and then trying to rationalize it by saying it's okay because God loves all of us. Read John 3:36. Does he know Christ? Did he ever? You can't really and truly know Christ and be okay with that sin.
  • Are we judges on Earth? No. Are we to recognize and reject sin? YES. Praying for Ray to come back to God, to be convicted by the Holy Spirit to repentance and truth is a good thing. Just don't put yourself in the place of thinking YOU don't need repentance too. I certainly need it, for lack of God's grace I am nothing...
  • "Because You just can't tell me that he knows Him now not acting the way he is acting" Do you know Him...in your little sins. Does he leave you? No! He tells us that He will never forsake any of His children..NO MATTER WHAT. I ask that you would pray for him and all who walk with our Savior. It is we who have hate for another that can not see.
  • And also I had the honor to meet Ray in person and hang out with him for a couple hours, he is a great man
  • I'm right there with you chrisuab
  • He's a great Christian artist, gay or not. Janaka and Demonsmasher, how can you say that he needs to see the light? Judge not lest ye be judged. While you're at it, pray for all Christian artists because they ALL sin.
