  • All in all, I'm deeply disappointed! Damn... I really thought this album would bring something new to the gothic metal, or at least revive some of the awesomeness that [artist]Tristania[/artist] once summoned with “[album artist= Tristania]Widows Weeds[/album]”... But no, instead we were given another bland album aimed towards the mainstream, not even scratching the surface of originality or quality.
  • I just finished listening to the full-length, with great expectations that it would teach the other gothic metal bands lesson, as I liked the EP, not a great deal, but it was pretty solid and didn't really sound that much like the other, boring and bland, gothic bands out there. So I fired it up with hope that it would be amazing, but what the hell happened?! I mean really, what the fuck happened? First off, the production is freaking awful, tracks are cut very bad, the mixing is boring and doesn’t give the guitars any room at all, same goes for almost all the instruments. Second, all the EP tracks are on this CD, but they are all “re-mastered” and not for the good. No, tracks such as “Lucifer Bliss” once featured some real energy, pretty damn awesome drumming and a good mix of vocals. But here, they’ve removed all of the good parts and replaced it all with bland and boring slow-paced bullshit and almost mixed out the growls, which was my favorite part of the whole track!
  • I can't deny the fact that I do like "Lucifer Bliss"; it's so damn catchy!
