Biography

Once upon a day, late 2008, Jonas (drums) decided to form a metalband. He gathered some people, amongst which Nick, who started as a guitarist, but has now found his place with a bass. With these changes, occuring quickly after the band formed in the early 2009, nowadays guitarist Alex came in the picture. For a while, the band counted five members, but unfortunately, this changed again.

For quite some time, the band, now named Random Insanity, consisted out of three members: Jonas (drums), Nick (bass) and Alex (guitar and vocals). Writing songs, they began to find out more people were needed. And so it happened, Tiddo joined the band, taking place as second guitarist around march 2010. For the lead vocals, Dieder was brought in some time later. While Dieder omits the clean, yet raw vocals, Alex screams his way through the backing vocals.

With a complete band, motivation and opportunity, the band decided they wanted a demo so they could start arranging performances. So, with the highly appreciated help from some friends, the demo “Now It Ain’t So Funny, Is It?” emerged.

With their raw, pounding trashy kinda metal sort-of sound, they rock randomly and insane, to whoever is close enough to the amplifier. Inspired by artists like the default Metallica and System of a Down, they add a cup of Lamb of God, a sniff of Dark Tranquillity and stir it together with some Godsmack and Kyuss.
