    @tloring80 rancid never tried to be "famous" they didn't sellout too a major record label,they stuck with Epitaph which is Greg Graffin's (Singer of Bad Religion) record company.

    hmmm the point with punk bands like Rancid is that they dont try to be famous..they are appreciated and admired for being a truly honest band with something to say and they also were around prior Green Day and The Offspring as their original incarnation as Operation Ivy...I am glad you like them

    yeah, its not really their fault this album was a monster. they made a great album and lots of people bought it. the new stuff isnt very good but this record was a beast.
