About this album

Beatservice Records 20 tracks (78:01)
Released February 10, 2009, “Ralphorama! Appetite 4 Selfdestruction” is the first solo/collab album of Norwegian artist Erlend Sellevold of Ralph Myerz and the Jack Herren Band. The album is a unique fusion of styles with such partners as Devin the Dude, Kurupt, Onkl P., Talib Kweli, Mitchy Slick, Phil The Agony, Krondon, Planet Asia, Chase Infinite, Caroline Ingeberg, Christine Sandtorv, J Wells, Elise, Pee Wee, Caro, Leca, Karin Park, The Shakes, Lexie Lee, Ill Inspectha, and Thea. Without the Jack Herren Band, Ralph Myerz is able to go places that he has never gone before with a result that is both more fun and less consistent than prior projects.

The album ranges from modern rap to ’80s hip hop to downbeat electronica, with many shades in between. Though few outside of Norway have likely heard of Ralph Myerz, other artists on the album are very well-known and the album itself is very well-produced.
