Ralfe Band are known for infectious folk influenced songs, vivid surreal lyrics and classical and gypsy inspired instrumentals.

Their debut album Swords was released in UK in 2005 by Skint Records and in Europe in 2007 by Talitres records, with two bonus tracks. The follow up Attic Thieves was released in October 2008 by Loose and Talitres Records. They released a new album in January 2010, the original soundtrack to UK feature Bunny and the Bull.

Ralfe Band have toured across Europe and performed at festivals as far flung as Istanbul and Ireland and Italy.

The video for ‘Women of Japan’ (Directed by Coan/Zorn) won best video at South By Southwest film festival in 2006 and is based on drawings made by Oly Ralfe. He also created the artwork for the albums Swords and Attic Thieves and accompanying singles.

In 2009 they completed the soundtrack to ‘Bunny and The Bull’, a feature film directed by Paul King, produced by Warp Films . The film was released in cinemas in 2009 and on DVD in 2010.

Oly Ralfe is a filmmaker and has made two feature documentaries. The Ballad of AJ Weberman (2007), about a Bob Dylan fanatic and Journey of The Childmen - The Mighty Boosh on Tour (2010) about the UK comedians. Journey of the Childmen is released on DVD on November 15 2010.
