I'm a big fan of Bonnet's voice. It's solid here, but the songs are just weak and can't be saved by him or Blackmore's guitar work. "All Night Long" has some catchiness to it, but the only song really worth keeping here is "Lost in Hollywood." It's the one track that should satisfy fans of the first three records.

Although i prefer Dio-era Rainbow albums, I like this record as "Since you been gone" has been one of my first "approaches" to Rainbow. Also, I think that Bonnet's album with MSG and his works with Alcatrazz are not that bad, though. But Dio-Rainbow will be unbeaten.

I am a big fan of the Dio stuff and all, but I really like this record with Bonnet. I think Dio is one of the greatest vocalist ever, but Graham Bonnet is very good in his own style and deserves more credit.

my first rainbow album. although not the first in my rainbow hierarchy, still manages to give me goosebumps :) powerful indeed.

I'm not a big fan of All Night Long and Since You Been Gone but the rest of this record is fucking killer. Eyes Of The World and Lost In Holywood are great epics. And I don't really care what people say but Graham Bonnet's voice is really powerful!!!

Fully agree with the comments below, I had this album on vinyl but haven't listened to it in years. I found it on mp3 download for £3 this week, what a bargain! Fantastic album with no filler and suprisingly good sound compared to the earlier Rainbow albums. A classic rock album!
