The Ragged Edge Band is one of the rare eastern North Carolina bands truly not afraid to tackle any genre. A diverse group of talented musicians, they are equally at home performing classic and contemporary country, rock favorites, dance pop/funk, even metal or bluegrass on occasion! With over 13 years with all original members, REB has a deep well of songs and prides itself in being able to customize their song lists to fit whatever the event needs or the crowd responds too.
Tiffany Albertson – Vocals/Stage Gymnastics
REB's newest member is no stranger to the group! She began sitting in with the band on occasion many years ago, before settling down as a featured performer in the variety show at the Rudy Theater in Selma, NC. Since leaving the Rudy, she's enjoyed using REB as an outlet for her talented voice, and enjoys the chance to let her hair down and cover more challenging and energetic material. She’s a gifted natural performer, accomplished tambourine artist, and a disastrously terrible cord winder! When not traveling all over Eastern NC to perform, she enjoys some quiet time with her family.
Phil Wise – Guitar/Vocals
Phil has performed with local and regional bands since the age of 14. At the age of 15 he hit the road with Ambush playing shows all across NC and VA before the school work began slacking. He continued playing with other local bands, and rejoined the group after High School for another stint before deciding to spend more time at home and pursue some more "schoolin". However, the guitar was not neglected and he quickly found a home with the Crossroads band out of Rocky Mount, NC. The past 11 years have been spent making music with two other Crossroads Alumni with REB. When not performing with REB, Phil still can be found with a guitar in hand. A veteran electric guitar player, he is now pursing acoustic and bluegrass music and performs with a local bluegrass band.
Bryan Taylor – Bass Guitar/Vocals/Chief Engineer A native westerner, by way of Florida; Bryan found a job and musical calling in NC. A long time Bass player, and son of a music teacher, Bryan jumped at the chance to join the Crossroads band in 1996. A natural performer and a gifted songwriter Bryan found a voice for both of those talents. After a brief musical retirement, Bryan found his home along side his best friends, keeping the low end rumbling with REB. Bryan spends his downtime usually “building” something, taking the RV or motorcycle out for and adventure, or trying to keep Phil and Doug out of trouble
Doug Carlisle(Drums/Vocals) - Biography stricken due to issues with Federal Witness Protection program.
