About This Track

The Morning Mr Magpie Songfacts says: Previously titled “Morning M’Lud” and “Good Morning Mr. Magpie,” and premiered by Yorke during a webcast back in 2002 as an acoustic ballad, this has been mooted for inclusion on every Radiohead album since. According to guitarist Ed O’Brien, the band worked on the tune extensively in 2005, before it finally found its way in a vastly reworked form onto The King of Limbs.

I love it how many of the sounds seep into this one. 3:46 is pretty mindblowing, especially with a good pair of headphones.

just featured radiohead on my new blog coachellafestival.tumblr.com. every day for 99 days I feature one artist that is a part of the coachella 2012 lineup, creating an information center where you can access basic artist information, third party reviews, music videos, and song downloads conveniently in one place. enjoy!

FTB may be better, but the new bassline Colin played at Colbert and Roseland completely ruined it.
