@zombiesaresmart I'd say Motion Picture Soundtrack, it's close though

    >tfw when this really is happening and I'm a pathetic waste of human life that will never find true happiness due to my own self-defeating nature

Wallowing in self-hatred while listening to this ftw.

What gets me most is that dissonant, high-pitched note in the back that lingers throughout the entire song. It sets a really eery tone which stops the track from becoming yet another simple acoustic ballad.

If there's a more emotional Radiohead song than this one, please somebody tell me. I'm serious.

Favorite song on Kid A, and probably my 3rd favorite Radiohead track. It's just so atmospheric....it really makes me feel like I'm floating away from my troubles in life.

Forgot there was a trumpet in this track. Nice.

This song is harrowing enough as it is, but the real kicker for me is at 5:25 when the strings seem to physically pull apart to free Thom Yorke's vocals from their chaotic trap. In that moment, I see everything and I see nothing.

The paradox is if you love this song, you already know how to disappear.

Is it wrong that to me this is one of the happiest songs ever written, and I listen to way too much Cardiacs to not claim to listen to a lot of happy, upbeat music. But this, it's just so... soothing. It makes me happy.

a great song for wallowing in self pity and/or depression.

My absolute favourite Radiohead track. So devastating, especially after the chaos of National Anthem.

Horrible song to listen to if you're depressed and standing in a subway. [2]

surrounded by the perfection of this track, it was just too much. i felt like i wasn't there, like it wasn't happening-- but it was and it continued and it was life-changing, mind-blowing, all-encompassing... i just couldn't help but to become overwhelmed by the emotional reaction of tear production even though in that moment i was so very very happy.
