Biography

Rachel is from San Francisco. The bass guitar is her weapon of choice, but she plays and writes her songs on a miniature guitar that her parents gave her for Christmas when she was two years old. She is influenced by Pinback, Thao Nguyen, Feist, Sufjan Stevens, Stanley Clarke, Battles, Primus, the Dodos, and her father who plays the jazz guitar. She records for fun and does side projects with other musician friends when she finds time.

    the banjo part in 1 2 3 4 from 1:17 to 1:25 gives me warm fuzzies... seriously. if you based a song on that melody i would listen to it for the rest of my life.
