Listening to Naü Ektila by Magma
makes me wonder who Ghost
's influences are... the first 3 minutes of this song could easily be excerpts from "Second Time Around", "Free Tibet" or "Snuffbox Immanence" (the albums, that is)...
4 minutes into the song, a brutal improvisational jam occurs... very reminiscent of Ghost's "Metamorphosis" album. Is it just me, or is the entirety of Ghost's pre-Hypnotic Underworld career covered in this twelve-minute opus? And to think that "Naü Ektila
" was composed and performed at least 30 years earlier? Bizarre...
It's another indication of Magma's brilliance. Deny them? Refute them? Get outta here!
are awesome as well
