Pretty dark and atmospheric song from a dark and atmospheric album. Love R.E.M they were the first American indie band I got into, still think 'Automatic for the people' is still possibly their best to date; 'Accelerate' and 'New adventures in hi-fi' seem to be overlooked gems too imo.

Think I listened to Automatic for the poeple at least once a day for about 3 years till my cassette got chewed up. Only just replaced it on CD bout 2-3 years ago dunno why it took so long, it's still their best piece of work to date and got to be in my top 5 albums of all time.
