Biography
Rökkurró is an Icelandic five-piece folk-rock band formed in 2006.
They released a four-track EP six months after their formation, which helped to gain them a record deal
with a local label: 12 Tónar. They released their first album Það kólnar í kvöld… (It gets colder tonight) in November 2007.
In June 2008 Rökkurró toured Germany, The Netherlands and Switzerland supporting Ólafur Arnalds. In March/April 2009 they went on a three-week tour around Europe stopping in Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, and The Netherlands.
