The wikipedia article has been updated (heh, me) to reflect how this album was made and (somewhat) what it sounds like. Give it a listen. If you want my quick opinion, it's this: Quicksilver proves that they have "solved" rock music on the Who Do You Love Suite. Then on Side 2 they show some things that a 2-guitar-bass-percussion band can do. No band since has equalled it, much less attempted it.

Great album, great band!!!.....A great band after my own heart.....I was in few bands from 1975 on,back then... Early on,like QMS----Our M.O. was---->All we wanted to do was (1) Practice, get good and play together at a leisurely pace (2 )Not care about Record Managers and contracts.(3)Get some live gigs that payed somewhat well (Heh heh,We`re talkin` the 70s here.there was some bartering goin` on a lil` at a few...drugs n booze paid for services at some dumps (4 )Buy select drugs of choice with what ever $$$ made and par-tay!!! (5) Repeat steps 1 thru 4 ...Wasted away again in Margaritaville, any Ville!!!

One of my all time favourite albums, a must for any lover of the S.Francisco sound, but I love all their albums.

Man I don't like these show-off hippie 60's bands and their 10 minutes fucking guitar solos... Might be interesting when high, but until then I'm not really impressed.

Wore out many a copy of this album on vinyl. Burned a few cells along the way.

I remember laying stoned out of my mind in the early 70s listening to this. Listening again brings back fond memories of a simpler - and better - time. The bass player used a frettless bass - made for a distinctive sound. All players were world class.
