The lyrics are almost describing the last 20 years of Queensryche.

This album only scored 4 out of 5 stars when Kerrang magazine reviewed it back in the day, just goes to show they know nothing, one of my favorite albums of all time, pity De'Garmo left though, he added so much to the writing and the sound.

hard to believe empire was released twenty years ago already.that and operation mindcrime were huge albums at that point and also right before grunge exploded.
