Dragon Attack (4:19)

Cover of The Game

From The Game and 23 other releases

Written by guitarist Brian May, who quipped in 1984 about the song,
“Done very late one night probably to the morning, probably very drunk.”.

John Deacon cited it as his “favorite song” of the album, while May would later elaborate on the song-writing process in a 2000 interview.
“”It was put together in an unusual way. We just jammed for a while and put down the basic riff.”“

In 1993, Roger Taylor spoke of the song as being difficult to play.

“As a drummer, you need a sense of time, a sense of rhythm, a sort of inner clock and that you really need naturally. You have to have aggression and lastly I would say you definitely need stamina. But you do learn tricks, apart from the fact that you develop more stamina, your muscles get more used to what’s demanded of them. We used to do a song called ‘Dragon Attack’ that was very hard on the right wrist.”

I love how every "instrument" has its solo part: drums, bass, guitar and then voice :D

That fucking custom of compare a song with another of the same group! Who cares if Dragon Attack seems to you better than Another one bites the Dust? Both are great songs! "Another.." is most popular, but not for that is worst song.

Their best non-single by quite some way. Deacon and May do an awesome job.
