Punsapaya is Chicago’s premier rock band. Combined with clearly classic studio work, Punsapaya’s live show annihilates any doubt that they are the future of rock. In 2004 they released their debut album, Prepare to Qualify, which has since been frequently featured on Chicago Radio’s WXRT. Punsapaya has shared the stage with such acts as: The Wailers, Rachel Yamagata, Bernie Worrell, Fishbone and Jennifer Hartswick; on such stages as: The House of Blues, The Metro and Park West. At an average age of 25, Punsapaya’s youth and experience have led to a rapidly growing fanbase of many demographics. With the songs, the stage presence and support, Punsapaya’s star is on the horizon.
