Puerto Muerto was supposed to be a bar. You know, the kind of place the lowest forms of humanity could meet, drink and occasionally engage in revelry.   • I saw them in a small bar called Bar Academy in Birmingham UK in about 2004/05. People were sat on the floor right at the front mesmerised by Christa's vocals. The hairs on the back of my neck stood on end for the entire set It was utterly spell binding. Spoke to them both after the gig and they were really nice people too!

  • first heard them live, and bought a cd they burned thmeselves, with a homemade cover that's quite endearing. struck me then and strikes me now how unusually good they are. glad to see they have continued making music and that people continue to support them!! yay!
