Aging teens, teen-agers. Funny that someone mentions 'like that' or 'Just like a woman', there's a lot of recycled PiL here, like a bit of Armada on Deeper Water. It's an odd album in that it's PiL kind of doing PiL. And this is probably the PiLest number on the album.

I think people are missing the point of the "we are teenagers" line. The fact that he is an old man is the reason he is singing that line; that is the whole point of it. He's not an unintelligent man, and he has a sense of humour; and I'm sure he knew people would react with "BUT YOU ARE OLD" backlash.

The lyrics, oh the lyrics... it does sound great and it is by all means PiL, but John is trying too hard here with lines like "we are teenagers".
