Biography

The evolution of sound is inevitable. Psychedelphia is a collective of open minds that has adopted this law. With the release of their debut recording “In With the New” (EP, 2008), they have effectively spread this profound truth in order to enhance listeners’ experiences. Drawing influence from their multi-cultural upbringings, the combination of music, spirituality, nature, physics and mathematics have proven to be the major catalysts for developing their sound.

Psychedelphia’s dynamic live performances cover an array of soundscapes. Their ability to connect with audiences on a relentless touring schedule has created a buzz everywhere from internet social networks to old-school word of mouth. Their rapidly growing fan base has attracted such media outlets as Relix, High Times, and Music Connection Magazines. The reviews share the trend that Psychedelphia is a group on the forefront of the next generation in experimental music.

Since their inception, Psychedelphia has delivered a number of sold out shows, headlined several festivals across the northeast, and shared the stage with some of their primary influences and closest friends such as DJ Logic, The Breakfast, Steve Molitz/Particle, Mike Rempel/Lotus, Mike Stern, Rodney Holmes, Marco Benevento, Willie Waldman, Telepath, Turbine, MJ Project, Papadosio, Juggling Suns, Brothers Past, G. Calvin Weston, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, The Indobox, Jimkata, Damn Right, and Elliot Levin, to name a few.
