In the early 2000s, the neigborhood of Kotež in Belgrade, Serbia increasingly gained more fame for the bustling hip-hop scene which it developed. Groups such as Prti Bee Gee and Bad Copy formed, later spawning associated solo acts which include Ajs Nigrutin and Timjah.

Prti Bee Gee, with their lyrics about drugs, smoking pot, drinking, sex and crime were the most hardcore and most prominent of all. The group was fronted by Mos-Kri until his death in 2005; the remaining members - Mickrey Mouse and Eufrat Kurajber - still perfom under the same name and have since released new songs and albums.

Their latest record, “Bez Šećera” was released in October 2011.
