About this album
“A Secret Wish” was the 1985 debut album of synthpop band “Propaganda”. It was produced by Stephen Lipson and Trevor Horn.
The album shares many of the characteristics of other early-’80s ZTT releases, especially in the groundbreaking use of synthesizers, such as the Fairlight CMI.
The singles “Duel” and “Dr. Mabuse” were both successful UK chart hits. The track “p:Machinery” was also released as a single, and was featured in an episode of the 80’s TV “Show Miami Vice”.
