February 2008 saw the release of the bands debut album “Through The Gates of Hell” with reviews from national magazines Rock Sound, Kerrang, Powerplay and Zero Tolerance. Planet Thrash named the album ‘Featured Album of the Month.’ Live TV performances on Red TV and Cue Tracks soon followed in support of the release, and in 2008 they featured on Get Ready to Rock’s ‘Rising stars iTunes podcast’ who claimed Primitai were ‘definitely one to watch.’

Primitai have gained a mass of radio support for previous single releases with airplay from the likes of BBC 6 Music’s Bruce Dickinson, Total Rock Radio, Rock 247 and BBC Radio Berkshire, plus many, many more. Past singles include “War Cries” and “Primitillian Man,” both with accompanying videos. Their debut single, “Primitillian Man,” reached No 3 in the HMV Rock download charts.
