Like a hard right hook to the jaw, Pretty Little Suicide hits the ear like a ton of bricks. With enough hooks to stock a bait shop the size of Texas, their brand of heavy-yet-melodic rock immediately captivates, dragging you into a sticky web of rock n’ roll debauchery.

With members that have lived in both Boston and LA, PLS blends East Coast grit with West Coast attitude and flash. The band’s influences span five decades - from 60s classic rock, to punk and arena rock from the 70s, to 80s metal and glam, and heavy goth-industrial rock from the 90s. Add in a dash of modern day chart topping pop, and you have Pretty Little Suicide.

Pretty Little Suicide spawned out of conversations between singer Paul Calnan and lead guitarist Ed Earle. Both musicians had grown up in the rock music scene and experienced its excesses and pitfalls first hand. So used to seeing the tremendous talent of fellow musicians squandered by the Rock N’ Roll life style, they set out to start a new project that brought all this to the forefront.

Pauly C leads the band with a distinctively edgy voice that oozes with attitude and emotion, and all the swagger of past icons. The guitar duo of Ed Earle and Mike Patton couple dirty raunchy riffs with blistering solos, proving that rock guitar isn’t a lost art. Rounding things out are Matt Langellotti, a bassist whose natural rhythm and groove are only exceeded by his energy, and Izzy, an extremely dedicated and hard hitting drummer.

The band immediately began recording their first single, ‘Cope’ - a dark sleazy rock tune about a drug addicted rock star told from his dealers point of view. The response was overwhelming.
