Biography

There are at least four artists going by the name “Prestige”.

1)Barbershop quartet hailing from Toledo, OH. These guys sure have SPUNK.

2)Formed in 1987, PRESTIGE was one of the leading Speed / Thrash metal bands in Finland and one of the first to get signed by a major label. They released three full lenghts: “Attack Against Gnomes” in 1989, “Selling The Salvation” in 1990 and “Parasites In Paradise” 1992. Besides these they also released the 12” maxi-single “Priest” in 1991 and the “Veijo” - EP in 1989. In 2007 a best of compilation “Decades Of Decay 1987-2007” was released and there has been rumours that the guys would release also some new material.

3) A german Hip Hop Combo consisting of the members Taz, Greis, Claud and Curse. They released their self-titled album on 31st January of 2005 via Alles Real Records (ARR)

4) a four-piece heavy hardcore/metal band that officially formed in early December 2010. Although they are a four-piece, they use a fill in guitarist for their live shows.

Their first EP, titled “REALITY” will be released on April 16th, 2011.

    I belive Decades of Decays is pretty much only album they sell anymore... Altho, I did find Parasites of Paradise album today in Epe's netstore for 4€ so I ordered it immeadeadly. Also I got my local musicstore to order Decades of Decay for me, that should be coming early next week I hope.

    Just read the finnish thrash band Prestige is booked for Sauna Open Air "Metal" Festival and listen to couple songs from youtube and it rocks so hard. Is there any album you'd recommend for me to buy?
