Pressburger Klezmer Band (the same as the Preßburger Klezmer Band) is the leading representative of ethno / world music genre and at the same time the first Klezmer band in Slovakia. Pressburger Klezmer Band was created in 1995. Since then they have regularly performed live in Europe and Slovakia.

Ahmed má hlad byl založen roku 1997, kdy se sešli čtyři spolužáci - studenti slovanské filologie na Karlově univerzitě v Praze (basová kytara, dvě elektrické kytary a zpěv) a zahráli si několik písní z oblastí, jejichž kulturu studovali – z východní Evropy a Balkánu.
