Praxis is the name of an ever-changing Bill Laswell musical project. First appearing in 1992 with the critically successful Transmutation (Mutatis Mutandis), the project has attempted to push the envelope of structure and progressiveness on a number of musical forms not normally amenable to the avant-garde concept.

The following musicians have contributed to the various Praxis experiments:
* Turntablist PhonosycographDisk
* Buckethead on guitars

* Bootsy Collins on bass and vocals
* Bill Laswell on bass
* Brain on drums
* Bernie Worrell on keyboards
* Yamatsuka Eye on vocals
* Toshinori Kondo on trumpet
* Af Next Man Flip on turntables
* Invisibl Scratch Piklz on turntables
* DXT on synths
* Hakim Bey on cover art, vocals, and inspiration
* Lili Haydn on violin
* John Zorn on saxophone
