In an increasingly narcissistic, vain world - where looks count, or set the paradigm for a westerners' operational mood and status (as mentioned in the lyrics ''the illusions you made''), Sail The Wildest Stretch by Powder finger hits a ''wider-consciousness and wavelength, alpha benchmark''. The song is now a single, so steeped in ''I can hear and feel the emotion; that it feels like it is talking to me'' - traits typical of other ballad anthems Powder finger have released and specialise in. It's such a shame Bernard Fanning and co haven't reached a spectre, nor element of the super stardom reached by their ''musical genre compatriots'' in Cold play. Maybe that's why Powder finger broke up? No personal and record company reward for effort, and truly awe-inspiring music. http://www.ivona.com/en/mini-reader/
