'The Airship' is the debut album by Port Blue. It is a collection of 13 melody driven instrumental ambient, post rock productions. The album was inspired by the novel 'Airborn', by Canadian author Kenneth Oppel.

    Huh. Did you guys knows this? This album was inspired by a novel: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airborn This is really cool, it really explains some of the original song titles like: Over Lionsgate City, or The Resilient Kate DeVries. :D Pretty awesome.

    I just realized that the songs all relate to the title of the album. It's like telling a story of his journey on an "airship" "over the Atlantic City", exploring the whole ship, while once in a while chatting with (French) passengers on his way before arriving at the "Sydney Harbor".

    Hey... does anyone know why some programs (like Rhapsody) have a different (and in my opinion, less appealing) rendition of ALL of the songs from this album? Just curious if anyone else had noticed or understood why this was.
