Biography

Pornorama grew out of home recordings of Sebastian Omerson. Only three months after the start of the band they became the winner of a prestigious contest for Belgian rock bands. Sugar, Honey Honey got airplay on the Belgian Studio Brussel, still the most important station for pop and rock music in Belgium. The band started a nice tour through the Belgian live circuit and their live performance grew. In April 2005 Pornorama signs a record deal with GreenLFant records, where colleagues as Satellite City, Mint and Triggerfinger reside. Studio Brussel again picks up the first single released in May 2005 (Better off dead) and stakes are high for the upcoming album. For this fine piece of work, a lot of fellow musicians join in, Stephane Misseghers(dEUS) takes care of recording production, Allan Gevaert(dEUS) joins in for some songs. The result is Under the second, a record with an eclectic gathering of songs, from dark emo (It Beats Fred) to up tempo party music (Get you off), as well as mighty rockers (Lofi, Kicking in side effects) and of course the radio singles (Eddy & Irene, Better off dead, Get you off).
