According to Steven Wilson, "The Blind House" refers to a fictitious religious cult. In the song he expresses his opinion on organised religions, as previously done in the tracks "Halo" from "Deadwing", "Even Less" from "Stupid Dream" and "Signify" from the album of the same name.

  • It’s no secret that in the music each note, each musical phrase is not just some informative, but also implies a musical image. Wilson's tunes have nothing superfluous, only the main action. His works are something incredible and special. Each melody, each plate is a separate world, a different story with a clearly traceable storyline.
