Great instrumental track. A solid fusion of elements from Voyage 34 and what would eventually come to fruition in Signify.

I don't care for the vocal samples on this song (I just skip those parts), but it's still brilliant. I love the guitar grooves.

This is a real grower! When I started listening to Up The Downstair this was one of the weakest, but these days it's not far from the best on that record.

lol @ the_s_rabbit, I've seen a lot of pathetic things on this site but skipping this track because of the "you don't need sex" sample is up there with the worst

I mean, really, what's so offensive about this? She's not advocating throwing all the immigrants out or all that "kill the gays" bullshit dancehall musicians spew about on a daily basis.

Er, the actual quote is "you don't need sex under LSD." Sensible advice I guess, it could be dangerous if you're having a bad trip.

Schizo94: Totally agree with you, I also use to think that when a couple have a lot of sex, it really isn't true love cause true love is about caring, not sexual lust. ^^

@chemicalmachine I don't know, but I thought I heard someone say the samples from Up The Downstair and Voyage 34 are from LSD propraganda videos.

Up the Downstair is an amazing album, but I have to skip this track because of the female voice samples. It's not just her voice, but the content also bothers me. I hate it! But I'm sure that's the point of the song.
